Lovejoy Surgicenter is
proud of the role it plays in caring for women. For more than
30 years we have given women reproductive choice when no one else
could - or would.
At the same time, Lovejoy Surgicenter pioneered
the concept of day surgery so that women could have surgery and
go home on the same day while paying far less than an overnight
hospital. From our experience, we have proven that it is possible
to reduce the high cost of having care without sacrificing the
quality. Surgeries performed at Lovejoy can save as much as 60%,
which is an important consideration when you have no insurance,
or your insurance coverage does not pay the full amount.
Lovejoy's facility and staff can accommodate
the needs of individuals. Women with unusual situations or health
concerns are able to benefit from the care of a hospital, without
the high fees.
Lovejoy Surgicenter is Oregon's first licensed
free-standing ambulatory surgical facility. Any surgery that can
be performed on an outpatient basis can be performed at Lovejoy;
cosmetic surgery, diagnostic and general surgery, podiatry, eye
and hand surgery. And, of course, we also provide family planning
surgeries such as abortions, tubal ligation and vasectomies.
