This may save you time on your appointment day, and it is recommended. All patient information is strictly confidential and we never share patient information with anyone outside Lovejoy Surgicenter unless you request it. Remember, you must not eat, drink, or smoke AFTER midnight prior to your procedure. You must come to your surgery appointment with an empty stomach. This helps you to avoid complications from the anesthesia. If you forget this requirement, we will be forced to reschedule your surgery. If you have any question or concerns about general anesthesia, we welcome you to discuss this with your counselor or doctor.
